Record-breaking Enrollment

We had over 200 students enroll last fall

Searcy Community School of Music is a non-profit organization in central Arkansas offering music instruction to provide meaningful musical experiences, to foster a love of music, and to develop life-long skills in making and enjoying music. We believe in the value of arts education as an integral part of the formation of a complete person.

OUR 20TH YEAR!

The 2023-24 school year is our 20th year!

Since our beginning in 2004, we have become a 501(c)(3) non-profit and grown to

200+ students and 40+ instructors.

Plus we’ve added an annual Solo Festival; summer camps for strings, choir, piano, and general music; and various classes, including classes for young children.

What a blessing to have been a part of the musical journey for so many students over the years!

What do parents say?

Your instructor has given my daughter the ability to excel in her endeavor, to play music, and to enjoy being in the band. More than that, we are [living] life to its fullest, which [her teacher] has accomplished through her dedicated tutoring and by becoming part of [my daughter's] life!... [My daughter] looks upon her in admiration, as if she is a loving big sister. something that [she] has never had. So, I thank you, your school, and your instructors, for your dedication.

Our family has been benefitting from SCSM teachers for many years! We have 4 children who have taken lessons, including violin, cello, piano, flute, and trumpet. We have had a such a great experience with the teachers and coordinators, appreciate the sibling discount and scholarship opportunities, and look forward to the semester recitals. It is an added benefit to have all the lessons in one location. So glad we have this in Searcy!
