Summer Camps
SCSM Summer Music Camps are week-long day camps for students ages 7 to 17 occurring JULY 13-17, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Reynolds Center of Harding University. Registration and payment of $140 per camper opens March 1 and is due by July 1.
- GUITAR CAMP is designed for guitarists ages 10-17 with 2+ years of instruction. Guitar campers select two elective classes in addition to Music Theory and Guitar Ensemble .
- PIANO CAMP is designed for student pianists ages 10-17 with 2+ years of instruction. In addition to Music Theory and Piano Ensemble, Piano campers select two elective classes, including Chamber Ensembles for advanced players.
- STRING ORCHESTRA CAMP is designed for string players ages 10-17 with 1+ years of instruction. In addition to Music Theory and String Orchestra, Orchestra campers select two elective classes, including Chamber Ensembles, for advanced players
- CHORAL CAMP is designed for students ages 7-17 who like to sing. Choral campers select two elective classes, including Broadway Workshop, in addition to Choral Ensemble and Music Theory.
- FUN with MUSIC is designed for all students ages 7-17 interested in music. Fun with Music
campers select two elective classes in addition to Music Theory and Experiencing Music.

- Broadway Classics – Discover over 100 years of American musical theater.
- Broadway Workshop – Experience the thrill of performing musical theater!
- Science of Music – Observe the scientific aspects of sound with acoustics.
- Music Masterpieces – Explore classical music masterpieces to find new favorites.
- Composition I, II, III – Develop your creative side through music composition.
- Conducting I, II, III – Develop your music leadership skills through conducting.
- Making Music Together – Create an original program of music and movement.
- Intro to Piano – Try your hand at piano.
- Intro to Ukulele – Try your hand at ukulele.
- Bucket Drumming – Lay down a beat with a group of new friends.
