Policies

Late Payments

Lessons will be suspended when payment is over a month late, unless arrangements are made with the Director.

Music & Materials

Each student’s instructor will recommend music and materials to be purchased. Photocopies, except for temporary situations, are not allowed.

Missed Lessons

SCSM instructors are not obligated to reschedule lessons cancelled by the parents/student, although instructors will attempt to do so if given 24-hours notice prior to the lesson and in cases of illness or emergency. Please note that lessons missed or cancelled by the student/parent will not be refunded.

Holidays & Inclement Weather

Because many SCSM teachers are Harding University students, the SCSM Calendar is based upon the Harding University academic calendar. In case of inclement weather, please contact the SCSM Director or your teacher.

FALL BREAK: Most SCSM teachers are out of town the entire week of Thanksgiving due to Harding University’s Fall Break. That week is not included in the tuition for our 14-week semester. Please make arrangements in advance to handle the situation.

SPRING BREAK: Because most SCSM teachers are out of town for Harding’s Spring Break, that week is not included in the tuition for our 14-week semester. SCSM teachers will be in town and teaching lessons during the public schools’ Spring Break. Please make arrangements in advance to handle the situation.
